Constructed in 1989, Clear Creek Executive Golf Course and Practice Range was made possible by the generous contributions of Mr. Robert Doyle, W.R. Long, and Bennett Roach, and is proudly a part of the Shelby County/Shelbyville Parks and Recreation Department.  Through the years, the focus has never changed from "Offer the best of golf at the best of values".  This mission continues and we strive to make golf a Clear Creek both enjoyable and affordable to any and all golfers.

Originally constructed in addition to a stand-alone driving range location, Clear Creek Golf Center has become the center for golfer development in Shelbyville, KY and surrounding areas.  With a challenging, yet fun-filled, executive golf course style, the 9-Hole course offers a variety of benefits to both beginners and advanced players.  Yardage on the 9-Hole course varies from 1400 to 1700 yards, with six par 3's and three par 4's.  Clear Creek Golf Course offers three sets of tee marks for golfers.  These markers include a forward tee, front nine tee, and a back nine tee for the same nine from a different view.  Play is on an open basis through the week and tee times are required for weekend/holiday play.

Along with the executive golf course, the golf center also includes a practice range that measures approximately 285 yards with multiple turf teeing areas, an artificial driving mat area, and seven different target greens.  Currently plans are being put together to construct a sand bunker practice area for both long and short sand shots.  Construction on this new area may begin early in 2008.  Clinics and Lessons are available Tuesday through Saturday by Clear Creek Golf Center Head PGA Professional Derrick Griffitts and staff.

All in all, the Clear Creek Golf Center offers both playing and practice opportunities for players of all levels.  Additionally, in 2008 the golf center will be welcoming the Clear Creek Tennis Center to share space in our golf shop, thus providing both golf and tennis offerings to all patrons.  Come by and see our facility, and understand why Clear Creek Park is the best choice for your golf and tennis recreation needs.
