Early
Dippers - We hope to give you a work
out that you can do at any pace and if
it hurts, you are encouraged to do the
exercise at your own pace or do
something else in the water. There
is flexibility in all classes.
Strength - Get a full body
strength-training workout, taking
advantage of an instructor helping you
to perfect your form, increasing bone
density and metabolism. this class
is suitable for all ages and fitness
levels.
Hi/Low
Aerobics - 30 minutes of aerobics
set to fun music that will get your
heart pumping, your feet moving and
calories burning. Get the best
results when you combine this class with
our Strength class that proceeds in the
morning and follows in the evening.
SilverSneakers Muscular Strength -
Move through a variety of exercises
designed to increase muscular strength,
range of movement and skills required
during activities for daily living.
Handheld weights, elastic tubing with
handles and a ball or offered for
resistance.
SilverSneakers Cardio - Enjoy a
heart healthy non-impact aerobic workout
with a chair used for seated and/or
standing support. Basic rhythmic
movements for the upper and lower body
are designed to give you a safe and fun
workout.
Cardio
Delites (Aqua) - This class does
five minute warm-up and forty-five
minutes of cardiovascular exercises
performed in the shallow end of the pool
and ends with resistance training and
stretching.
Sr./Rejuvenating Yoga - This gently
yoga class targets those that may find
other yoga activity too challenging.
It is for anyone who wants to increase
their flexibility & mobility.
Poses will be adapted for any special
needs or physical limitations.
Ashtanga Yoga - This aerobic system
of yoga is based on a specialized
sequencing of postures, and focuses on
breathing techniques.
Hatha
Yoga - This class offers a variety
of posses. Beginners and
experienced students alike can benefit
from the gentle stretching that is
adaptable to all levels.
Deep
Water - This class does a five
minute warm up and forty-five minutes of
cardio work that elevates the use of the
core muscles. And you're
weightless.
Joints
A Jiving (Aqua) - This class is
accredited through the Arthritis
Foundation and follows their guidelines
and procedures. This group
alternates walking with upper and lower
body range of motion and flexibility
exercises. If you don't use it you
will lose it.
Saturday Sizzler (Aqua) - A fun
beginning to the weekend that includes
cardio and strength training.
Begin-Intermed
Yoga - Heat up the body internally
with the breath and Sun Salutations.
Prepare to work, sweat and learn how to
fine tune the details of alignment in
the poses.
Intermediate Pilates - Classes will
move at a slightly faster pace with less
explanatory notes made about the five
critical connections, breathing, etc.
Students should have an understanding of
Pilates fundamentals for this class.
Beginner/Intermediate Pilates - This
class will offer detailed instruction on
the fundamental movements of Pilates but
will also provide a challenge for
existing students.
